Rebecca Lueck

Hi, I’m Becca! I’m a family photographer based in the Pacific Northwest, and I’ve been photographing people since high school. I did my first paid job back in 2010, and once I discovered lifestyle family photography, I started falling in love with my work and my business took off. I love sessions where families can play and have fun while I get to showcase the beautiful PNW landscape.

I’ve been named one of Click & Co’s Top 10 Family Photographers of 2024, and I’ve taught at The Reset Conference, the Elena S Blair Mastermind Retreat, and the Milky Way Family & Newborn Online Retreats. Teaching photographers is one of my favorite parts of this job :) I typically teach about creating family films, using backlight, creating fun family sessions, and the business end of things.

I live in Portland, Oregon with my husband, cat, and two teenagers. One of my passions is travel so you may see me at a photography retreat soon! Fun fact: I went on a 3 week solo trip to Europe in fall 2024 where I walked 10 miles in a day in Edinburgh, swam in the Mediterranean in France, and climbed a glacier in Iceland. Packing for that trip was interesting, haha. It was surreal, and I may need another solo trip soon.

Lifestyle sessions with me feel more like hanging out and having fun than taking photos. Your kids play, you relax, and we end up with real moments that tell your family's story. I don't want or expect your kids to be perfect. I'd rather they be themselves (even if that means silliness) because that is what will produce the best and most genuine images. Especially if a kid gets to think they're getting away with something, that is seriously when all the best smiles come out. I encourage parents to go with the flow and not stress about being perfect. Real is so much better.
