Member Bio : Hi!! I'm Julie Hamlin, owner and photographer behind Sacred Sage Photography in Albuquerque, New Mexico! I consider myself to be an emotive storyteller of all things life! I began my journey with families, and quickly branched out to photographing children, newborns, maternity, couples, weddings, births, headshots and branding. Telling people's stories fills me with so much joy, and it is a privilege to call this my career. NAPCP was the first organization that I sought after affiliation with, and this organization has helped me in countless ways both professionally and personally. I gained multiple master certifications immediately and began developing the confidence I needed to propel myself and my business. Becoming an ambassador for NAPCP was my next goal, and it is a title that I cherish! In addition to being an ambassador for NAPCP, I am also a brand ambassador for the US lens company, Lens Baby, as well as a Click Pro Elite with the Click Community. Being involved in organizations, such as NAPCP, that encourages and supports photographers and our journeys, is invaluable. And it is an honor to represent NAPCP in everything that I do within my business.

Style/Specialization : Julie Hamlin has had a passion for photography since she was a child. It was always a hobby as she grew up, eventually turning into a profession once she started a family and people began to aknowledge the photographs she took oh her son, and wanted her to do the same for their family. She eventually decided to upgrade her camera, and begin a business. She was a marketing director for a company at the time, and eventually walked away to pursue Sacred Sage Photography. Photographing babies, children, and families are her heart and soul. She loves to capture pure, innocent, raw moments, oftentimes what others may never see. Her photography style is emotive storytelling. She wants people who view her images to feel the emotion or the setting of her photographs. Children are so full of life and stories and she believes their stories should be told.
